Motor

Brushless 60 volt. 2 kW DC motor. Powered by a 6.0 Ah, 60-volt battery (standard).

Housing

56.0 cm (22.0 inch) stamped steel, spiral grass chamber with rear bagging, side discharge and recycling (mulching) capability. Includes front throw baffle and side and rear discharge openings with spring loaded doors.

Height of Cut

Each wheel individually adjustable by leaf spring type hand levers, from 2.5 cm to 10.2 cm (1.0 to 4.0 inches), nine positions, in approximately 0.85 cm (0.3 inch) increments.

Blade

55.2 cm long heat-treated alloy steel. Atomic style blade is attached to motor shaft with a blade driver, blade support and special bolt with lock washer.

Controls

Blade Brake Bail: With bail against the upper handle, motor can be started and run. With the bail released, the motor will stop.

Self-Propel Bail: The telescopic control handle converts sliding motion to rotary motion, engaging the transmission cable. Infinitely variable ground speed is determined by the relative position of the telescopic control handle, which is controlled by the operator’s walking speed.

Handle is a single piece with two operating positions. Handle has with SmartStow capability.

Wheels

Rear Wheels: 26.7 x 5.1 cm (10.5 x 2.0 inch) – White polypropylene hub with two oil impregnated metal bushings. Black PVC cap style tyre with progressive tread design.

Front Wheels: 20.3 x 5.1 cm (8.0 x 2.0 inch) – White polypropylene hub. Black PVC cap style tyre with progressive tread design.

Catching Bag

74.0 litres (2.1 bushels).

Gearbox

Rear wheel drive maintenance free gearbox with a 6.0:1 final drive ratio. Enclosed overrunning ratchet clutches that provide positive forward drive and a differential action. Adjustable traction cables pivot the gearbox to tighten or loosen the drive bels for clutching function. Ground speed is infinitely variable from 0 to 7.2 km/h (0 to 4.5 mph) with push-to-propel system.
